About Us
Founded in 2012,
Gold Rush Warrant Officer Charities is a non-profit, tax-exempt* corporation, whose membership consist of Active, Reserve, National Guard, and Retired US Army Warrant Officers in the greater Sacramento, California area. The organization was formed to provide a means of raising funds in order to donate those funds to
local charitable causes, such as:
- the Mather Veterans Administration (VA) Hospital,
- the Children’s Receiving Home of Sacramento,
- the National Teen Leadership Program©,
- as well as various military-affiliated family support groups and other worthwhile programs.
Gold Rush Warrant Officer Charities raises funds through multiple fund-raisers each year, including its Annual Comedy Night Fundraiser, events such as silent auctions; donations from private organizations and corporate sponsors, and through personal donations from individuals seeking to make a difference in our own community.
